My wife & I have worked in YNP 4 seasons (2002, 03, 05 & 07). We worked for the General Store at Tower Fall and lived in the dorm there.
My wife was cashier each year. I started the 1st year dipping Ice Cream then ended as 'janitor' at dorm. Other 3 years I was cook in the employee dining room (EDR).
Dorm Living: At Tower we had 2 person rooms. Each room had a sink, mirror and cabinet. Couple rooms had 'private shower' and john. Single person rooms shared shower and john. Meals were in EDR. Heavy meal at noon. Meals were on a planned 30 day rotation of menus.
You don't make money. It is a good 'paid' vacation though. You do have two days off for doing what you want. It is best to have own transportation. We were close to Lamar and liked visiting it when possible. Visited many of the outlying cities also.
