a look at the Glacier Chat page, if I am not mistaken, there will be restrictions in place on Going to the Sun Road, starting the 15th of Sept. In addition, many of business, have already started to close down for the season. I live about 35 miles from Glacier and can make it to the North Entrance of Yellowstone in about 6.5 hours, depending on traffic and weather..Glacier is September is Great, but not always the best time to visit..
