Beaver Ponds, from Mammoth, it starts right next to Liberty Cap. It's a nice loop that takes you through various kinds of terrain and past scenic lookouts. I think it's about 5 miles total.
The photo is of one of the actual beaver ponds along the way :-) Note the nicely built dam.
